Firm Foundation Pre-K

Our Firm Foundation Pre-K program is designed to prepare children academically, socially, and emotionally for a successful transition into kindergarten.

At this stage, children are ready for more structured learning experiences while still benefiting from play-based exploration. Our program blends intentional instruction with hands on discovery to help children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

Our Curriculum

The Firm Foundations Pre-K curriculum draws inspiration from both the Montessori Method and the Reggio Emilia approach, encouraging children to think creatively, solve problems, and explore their interests.

This balance of independence and guidance helps children feel capable and prepared for the expectations of kindergarten.

Character & Faith Development

Faith and character remain at the heart of our program. Through daily conversations, stories, and examples, children are encouraged to practice important character traits such as:

  • Kindness

  • Honesty

  • Responsibility

  • Respect for others

Children also participate in simple faith-centered moments such as prayer, songs, and Bible stories that reinforce positive values and a sense of gratitude.
